I ordered these scoops to add to my sensory bin in my preschool class. I love them and so do the kids. However, when I received my package from Amazon, which was a padded envelope not a box , the container was completely smooshed and one of my scoops was already broken in the plastic container they came in. I was able to put it back together but it just doesn't hold well, so I guess I will have to glue it. The scoopers do occasionally come off but they pop right back on. They are pretty sturdy considering they are holding up to the 4 year olds in my classroom.I loved itThey are veru sturdy and eady to use. I use them to help develop fine motor skills.I was really hoping these handy scoopers were going to be a cost effective and fun way to disguise practicing motor skills with my daughter who has Down syndrome. We literally had them two days before one of them was broken. So I wouldn’t count on them being sturdy and durable for young toddlers.my two year old broke one while playing with it appropriately. kind of cheapMy preschool kids love these, but after a year or so, the rounded cups popped off the end. I just glued them back on with superglue.I have purchased a similar product from a different company but, this one surpassed my expectations. I would buy them again.I bought these for my preschool grand children to play with in the water with water beads. They are really fun and pretty durable but every now and then one of the scoop sides comes apart, but I can put it back together. I’m definitely pleased with them and fortunately they have not gotten broken yet.First saw these being used by a little boy at a sandpit in a playground and my 3 year old (2 at the time) instantly was drawn to it and was playing with it making icecream etc.Since we got him his own set, him and his brother (5) plays with it often outdoors, indoors with magnetic sand, and water beads.The scoop party does seem to clip off quite easily. But maybe my son was too heavy handed trying to grab too much sand..All in all, a Good buy.Ooooh I love these! Purely because my children have so many hours upon hours of fun with them! They collect water beads with them from their water tray & little gems, toy pennies & buttons (+shopkins my daughter adds!). They find the whole thing hugely therapeutic. Great for sensory play. I would highly recommend for schools/nurseries who haven't already tried & tested them. You can create games with them too, with set challenges like who can collect 'x' item in the quickest amount of time. They're really well built for little hands and also can be used by us grown ups too. A brilliant idea and thoroughly worth purchasing. They're great! I'll definitely be purchasing more as a gift for friend's with children.Was disappointed that 1 of the 4 was broken as soon as we opened the book. Having waited for delivery didn’t want to send them back and wait for more as I have twins who are bored on lockdown so wanted to use the ones that work. But quality could be better for the priceI purchased these to replace one the kids broke in an argument. Withing 10 minutes of using these to scoop water beads EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS BROKEN! I thought the 5yr olds were being heavy handed but no. The clear plastic part is just very brittle and shatters on the slightest impact. The handle part isn't sturdy at all and twists causing the scooping part to break off . Waste of money and disappointment and danger to the kids.They are SO over priced for what you get! Not sturdy at all and Inhave to constantly keep putting the scoop back onto the handle but now they have completly broken!! My 3 year old broke these within 30 minutes of playing with them! Such a same considering he really enjoyed playing with them. I wouldnt pay more than £4 for these
